The master’s program has begun. Before the first day, I attended the welcome meeting, where I had the opportunity to see the university and meet some of the faculty and my new fellow students.
The group is very diverse, with many different backgrounds and experiences. Of course, they look very young, but that wasn’t really a surprise. I really like the group; it seems to bring together incredible talent and a strong willingness to be here.
After the first week of classes, I can see the very high caliber of the teachers. It also promises to be a very demanding environment. Digital arts feel very new to me, and I think I might be behind many of my fellow students in some ways, especially in using the sophisticated tools.
I am going to have to spend a lot of time catching up…
