The very first class intrduced us to Processing. A visual programming language used by artists to create static and dynamic digital artwork. The language resembles C++ and Java.
I used to program in C, so I think I might be able to learn it. After the first couple of classes, I was still a bit rusty, but I managed to follow through. I like the class, and I begin exploring a bit more. For example, how to create moving fog and recursive routines to draw basic fractals.
We need to develop a project in groups. I join Lizzie and Jaap And we decide to put in an interactive artwork, Jaap’s frustration with the process of getting an appointment to process his foreign residency card. It promises to be a fun task!
