We have not actually seen most of what we think we know.  We have only heard about it.  We understand the world based on images, stories, movies, press.  All of them, inevitably, include ideas that shape our point of view.
Same with people. Very often we settle with first impressions, without even trying to understand deeper interests and motivations. In some cases, we can even create barriers based on gender, race, citizenship, or religion.  Walls that may inhibit us to enjoy the company of people different from ourselves.
Today’s word has us immersed only in the immediate.  The “now” leaves us without time to see beyond the first plane, hiding “the big picture”.  This narrow vision makes us walk life only noticing the details, forgetting about the context.
This work is an invitation to dig deeper.  To step back and release all presets to gain a wider point of view denying to stop only on the details. To discover the great world around us.  Let’s stop seeing the trees to admire the forest!
